Dear Dr. Londono Echeverry,
As the highest authority of the San Andrès, Santiago indigenous council I am writing to you today with regard to your communication of April 15 # 2014 OF/14000015412-DCP-2500 in which you respond to our sovereign decision not to permit the diamond drilling extraction project and not to allow any other mining processes, and communicate the proposal regarding the prior consultation process as was submitted and signed by the Sibundoy Valley indigenous authorities.
To this date neither the Prior Consultation Administration nor the Anglo-American Mining Company has initiated the prior consultation process. Therefore we assume that this project is no longer being pursued.
Any communication concerning this matter should be sent to the Taita Gobernador Antonio Cuantidioy, Cabildo Inga de San Andrès, Santiago Municipality, Putumayo. antoniocuantindoy571@hotmail.com, cell phone #3116013254
Yours Sincerely,
