After many tragic years of violence, turmoil, corruption, and bitter repression, Colombia is now in a period of transition to a much more hopeful future, in which the just aspirations of its people, who have suffered too much, may finally be realized. The current election will determine whether the path towards peace and justice will be effectively pursued, or whether the Colombia will return to the dark days of the past. At this critical moment, it is critical to support the candidacy of Gustavo Petro, the best hope for the future for the people of Colombia.
